The TRUTH about Water Baptism
Water
Baptism was one of three things left to the church to do. To be done and
to make it worth doing, it had to be done God's WAY.
After the Roman Catholic church
changed the Godhead into three persons, it wasn't long before true Christian
baptism was lost. Today most churches baptize using the titles that Jesus
spoke of in Mat 28:19 instead of the only name that
was given to man by which they must be saved.
And that name was not "Jesus
only", as some do. There are many men that have the name 'Jesus',
but only one 'Lord Jesus Christ'
Today they sprinkle water over babies and call it
baptism, Where is that in the bible? How can a baby repent?
When you follow the rules of man and not God, then you are
out of the will of God. At times God has WINKED at man’s ignorance. ACTS 17:30. When you
teach or believe for the truth the traditions of man, Isa 29:13-14 and Mark 7:7
apply. They worship me in vain.
And now that the Truth from God’s Prophet has been revealed, God will NO
LONGER WINK. Now if you do not come back
to the WORD of GOD, you will be held accountable.
Rom 3:4 Let God be true and every man a lier.
Gal 1:8 † But though
we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which
we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.
Baptism was only done one way in the book of Acts 2:38,
8:16, 10:48, 19:5, 22:16. It wasn’t until the Catholic Church changed the
Godhead and came up with their own form of baptism that it changed to the titles(Father, Son, Holy Ghost) that are used today.
Look at Cain and Able, both worshiped God and both built an
altar and made a sacrifice. Able had the true revelation of what was
required, Blood. Cain was told what to do, but no revelation, and he
brought fruit. Didn’t God even tell him to go and do what his brother did
and he would be accepted? That is the same with baptism,
Father, Son, and Holy Ghost are titles to a name. LORD (Father), SON(Jesus), HOLY GHOST(Christ), Lord Jesus Christ is the
compound name of God. And that is what the Apostles believed and all the
1st church believed.
It wasn’t until the Catholic Church that the three person
doctrine came out, (about 325 AD), and baptism was changed to the 3 person formula.
Even the Catholic Church at one time baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus
Christ.
The following is a true record of a Baptism which took
place in Rome A.D. 100 and was reproduced in TIME magazine, December 5, 1955.
"The deacon raised his hand,
and Publius Decius stepped through the baptistry door. Standing waist-deep in the pool was Marcus Vasca the woodseller. He was
smiling as Publius waded into the pool beside him. ‘Credis?’ he asked. ‘Credo,’ responded Publius.
‘I believe that my salvation comes from Jesus the Christ, Who was crucified
under Pontius Pilate. With Him I died that with Him I may have Eternal Life.’
Then he felt strong arms supporting him as he let himself fall backward into
the pool, and heard Marcus’ voice in his ear ---- ‘I baptize you in the Name of
the Lord Jesus’ ---- as the cold water closed over him."
Paul, Peter and all the Apostles preached baptism in the
Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Faith comes by hearing the TRUE WORD of
God. And that church had faith.
Acts 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is
none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
There is no salvation in titles, Rose of Sharon, Lilly of
the valley, Father, Son, Holy Ghost. No salvation in any of them. There
is only one name given to man by which we must be saved.
Col 3:17 And whatsoever ye do in word
or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the
Father by him.
To be baptized in the titles Father, Son, & Holy Ghost
is to break this scripture.
Luke 24:47 † And that repentance and remission of sins should
be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.
That Name, the Lord Jesus Christ.
1 Sam 15:22 ……. to obey is better than
sacrifice……..
Eph
3:15 Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is
named:. The Lord Jesus Christ.
Baptism is one of three ordnances left to the New
Church.
Just ten days after Mat 28:19, Peter stands up before the
people and makes the promise for the true church. Acts 2:38
1) Repent
a.) Repent of What?
b.) Unbelief in God’s
Word. To deign one Word is Unbelief and constitutes rejection of God.
2) Be
Baptized
a.) How? A certain way.
b.) To be immersed in
water in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ.
c.) Rom 6:3,4 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized
into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death. Therefore we are buried with
him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by
the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
d.) Col 2:12 Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen
with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from
the dead.
3) Receive
a Gift.
a.) What Gift, The Baptism of the Holy Ghost. God living in man.
After a person is obedient and does 1 and 2 above.
Then the person becomes ready to receive the Holy Ghost. And they will
receive it when God accepts their faith.
Acts 8:16 (For as yet he was fallen upon
none of them: only they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.)
4.) Someone could
repent of all they know and not receive the Holy Ghost, because they left out
being Baptized or did it incorrectly. Acts 19 Paul made the disciples
be baptized again correctly before they received the Holy Ghost.
5.) Someone
could be baptized correctly and not repent completely.
So a person will not receive the Holy ghost indwelling until
they have correctly fulfilled the Word, they will
receive the Holy Ghost with them, but not in them.
Remember Peter had the keys to the kingdom and whatever he
bound on earth(Acts 2:38) is bound forever.
Paul was so sure of himself, for he knew it was the Holy
Ghost speaking through him.
Gal 1:8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any

Mat 24:35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall
not pass away.
Mar 16:16 He that believeth and is baptized(correctly) shall be saved; but he that believeth
not shall be damned.
Gal 3:27 We are baptized into Christ.
The Nicolaitane Doctrine was “the
corruption of the clergy as they sought political power amongst themselves”,
while “Balaamism is the subjection of the people to
their system of creed and worship in order to hold them”. Balaamism was and is the creeds and dogmas formed into
church tenets. Doing baptism in titles instead of the Name of the Lord
Jesus Christ is following church tenets and Balaamism,
which God hates.
This last church age (Laodicean)
says it is very rich and in need of nothing, yet Jesus said, Rev 3:17, .……..knowest not that
thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:
Scripture must line up from A to Z, the beginning to the
end of the Word. When Jesus said to baptize in the Name of the Father,
Son and Holy Ghost and Peter said to Baptize in the Name of the Lord Jesus
Christ. It has to be the same or the bible is in error and our faith is
worthless. Both Jesus and Peter were
absolutely CORRECT. The Lord Jesus
Christ is the compound Name of God. ISA 28:10 † For precept must be upon precept, precept upon
precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little:
REVELATION 18:4 † And I heard another voice from heaven, saying,
Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye
receive not of her plagues.
One ending thought, Where is the power in the church
today? People don’t even have faith for healing, How are they going
to make it in the Rapture. There are millions and millions of professed
Christians today that believe some lies that came from the Catholic Church,
their mother so to speak.
Mat 7:13,14 Enter ye in at the strait
gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth
to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
The gate that leads to life is not wide or broad, it is strait and narrow.
Isaiah said it all in this scripture. Jesus was the
Flesh that Jehovah God lived in.
ISA 9:6 † For unto us a child is born,
unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his
name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God, The everlasting
Father, The Prince of Peace.
One last thought, if you think after reading this that I believe we are saved by works, than you are mistaken. We are saved by Grace and GRACE alone, but if we are TRULY SAVED, then we will fulfill the Word. Not because it is our works, but because we wish to PLEASE our LORD. So that is why we will do all that is within our power to keep all of His Word.
